Love reading a variety of different types of books? Want to share your thoughts and reactions to books with others? Then a book club is a great place to do this.
Riverside Virtual Book Club (ages 18+)
The Riverside Virtual Book Club meets the fourth Monday of each month at 7 pm via Zoom. Group members suggest and vote on the books to be read. Discussion questions are distributed via email before the group meets. Zoom is a web-based meeting application. If you join the group, information on using Zoom will be sent to you upon request.

Book Clubs at Main Branch, Jackson
Riverside Book Club (ages 18+)
The Jackson discussion group meets at the Jackson Main Library on the third Monday of the month at 6:00 pm. (Except for months when Monday is a holiday)

NOTE: The virtual book club and the Jackson in-person club generally read the same book, so if you can’t make the in-person discussion one month, you can always join the virtual discussion group.
Juvenile Book Club (ages 8-14)
This group usually meets the last Wednesday of the month at 5 pm, though days may change.
Oran Book Club (ages 18+)
The book group meets at the Oran Library usually on the third Monday at 1:30 pm.

The Monday Book Club meets at the Perryville branch on the second Monday of the month at 2 pm.

This group usually meets on the third Saturday of the month at 10am.
Junior Book Club (ages 8-12)
This group usually meets on the fourth Saturday of the month at 12pm.
